Our Founder's Story

The foundation of House of Jams is built on lived experience. As a Veteran, an educator, a career coach, and a survivor, our founder intimately understands the complex barriers individuals face when trying to rebuild their lives. The transition from crisis to stability is rarely a straight line; it requires more than just a temporary roof—it demands a holistic framework of support.

Witnessing firsthand the systemic gaps that leave vulnerable individuals falling through the cracks, she recognized that true recovery requires an environment anchored in both compassion and accountability. House of Jams was born from the conviction that a safe space is just the beginning.

We believe that recovery is architectural—it requires a solid foundation, ongoing maintenance, and the right tools. By combining stable housing with targeted resources, life skills development, and career coaching, we create a structured environment where residents can transition from
survival mode to sustainable independence.
